10 ways to boost your IMMUNE SYSTEM
Supporting the immune system is critical to good health, as the immune system protects the body against infection. It is estimated that healthy adults get an average of two colds per year, while children can get many more. Since there is no cure for the common cold, the best approach is prevention.

Eat a rainbow - 7 a day (5 veg and 2 fruit). Choose different colours and eat locally and seasonally.
Limit sugar and refined grains (like pasta and bread) -> instead go for whole grains such as wild and brown rice, whole oats and quinoa.
Avoid margarines and trans fats and focus on healthy fats -> coconut oil, olive oil, nuts, seeds and avocados.
Include adequate but not excessive amounts of protein.
